Tommyknocker Brewery has been creating quality, award winning lagers and ales in the Colorado Rocky Mountains since 1994. 
Our 2008 output was 9000 barrels.  One barrel = 31 gallons=2 kegs=13.7 cases=330 - 12 oz bottles of beer. Our bottling capacity is 540 cases per day. Maple Nut Brown Ale is our most popular bottled beer and Pick Axe Pale Ale is the favorite over the bar, and with locals at our brewery and restaurant, in historical Idaho Springs, Colorado.

This Oak Aged lager is our newest specialty brew!   At 8.1% alcohol by volume, this hearty offering has generous notes of caramel sweetness, with matching oak overtones that enhance the complex melding of malted barley and smokey oak wood flavors. Commemorating 10 LEGENDARY YEARS of Brewing Excellence!  Commemorating the 10th anniversary of Tommyknocker Brewery, this special brew is meticulously crafted with pure maple syrup, the highest quality chocolate and crystal malts and is accented with the finest blend of European and American hops. Maple Nut Brown Ale - 4.5% ABV
A delicate amount of Maple syrup is added to each barrel of our award winning Maple Nut Brown Ale to impart roasted sweetness. Jack Whacker Wheat Ale - 4.7% ABV
This American-style wheat ale is a light, unfiltered brew with a citrus aroma andflavor imparted by a late addition of lemon grass. This unfiltered beer retains all of its protein, flavor, and some of its yeast, resulting in a traditionally cloudy appearance. An uncommonly smooth dark brown ale with a multitude of complex light chocolate and coffee flavors. The hops balance the malty tones imparted by a blend of dark and caramel grains. Black Powder Stout - 5.6% ABV
This brew uses an aggressive amount of roasted malts which create a coffee aroma and flavor.  Black powder stout is a malt predominate beer with light hop undertones which balance the sweetness of the malt. 2005 NABA Gold Medal. On draft and Party Pigs only.

Hop Strike! Black Rye IPA - 7% ABV
Hop Strike! is a dry hopped Black Rye-IPA built from the ground up at Tommyknocker Brewery. This Beer is characterized by an intermingling of spicy citrus hops and chocolate malt creating an interesting complexity and great first impression on the nose. Hop Strike’s substantial 78 IBU's are balanced by the Chocolate Rye resulting in a nice depth of malt character and deep color.  On draft and Party Pigs only.

~ Spleen Cleaver

An 8.5% ABV, Scottish style ale that is malty sweet and very full bodied.  Dark burnt copper in color with subtle smoky tones from a light addition of smoked malt.  The warmth of the alcohol balances the sweetness of the malt.  The lower carbonation provides an overall smooth sipper for the cooler temperatures of the winter season.  Brewed only once every three years and available only at the Idaho Springs brew pub.
